    All our Softbank Japan Data eSIM plans are data-only and don't support voice calls or SMS using a mobile number.

    You can, however, make calls and send messages using VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram, or Messenger over your eSIM data.

    The 90-day validity period begins from the time of activation.

    Each 24-hour period counts as one full day. For example, if a 5-day plan is activated at 10:00 on 1 April, it will expire at 09:59 on 6 April.

    ⏳ How can I extend my eSIM?

    You can’t extend the number of days or add data to your existing Japan Softbank eSIM plan.

    If you need more time or extra data, just purchase a new Japan Softbank eSIM to stay connected.

    🔄 Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?

    No, once your eSIM is installed, it is locked to that device and cannot be transferred.

    If you want to use the service on another phone, please purchase a separate eSIM for that device.

    If an eSIM plan is reinstalled or activated a second time on the same or another device, the plan will be immediately voided, no refunds or replacements will be provided.

    📡 Can I use tethering or hotspot sharing?

    Yes, tethering and hotspot sharing are supported. Just enable hotspot mode on your device settings to share your connection.
