    All you need to do is choose how many calendar days you’ll be visiting China; there’s no need to worry about running out of data or adjusting your usage while you're on holiday.

    In rare cases, the local network provider may restrict usage if fraud, misuse, illegal activity, or unusually high usage is detected within a short period; such instances are extremely uncommon.

    Our China Unlimited Data plans provide data-only coverage throughout Mainland China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi'an, Hangzhou, and thousands of other cities.

    This plan is valid in Mainland China only and does not include Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan.

    🌍 What network speeds can I expect?

    The IP routing option you select determines which mobile carrier you'll connect to while travelling in Mainland China.

    • Hong Kong IP Routing: China Mobile 5G/4G/LTE
    • Singapore IP Routing: China Unicom 4G/LTE

    Major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Chongqing typically offer the fastest data speeds, while remote rural regions, mountainous areas and less populated parts of Western China may experience slower connectivity or reduced coverage.

    Network availability, speeds and coverage are provided by local carriers and remain outside of our control. For this reason, refunds are not available for coverage-related issues once the eSIM has been used.

    📅 When will my Unlimited Data Plan start & end?

    Your eSIM Day 1 begins when the eSIM first connects to a mobile network within Mainland China and runs until 23:59 (GMT+8).

    For example, if you install your eSIM at 10:45 PM, that counts as Day 1, and Day 2 starts at 00:00 (GMT+8).

    Your plan expires at 23:59 (GMT+8) on the final day of your selected eSIM plan period.

    📶 What is the IP Breakpoint?

    Choose your preferred IP routing; Hong Kong or Singapore.

    By connecting through either location, most popular apps and services work as expected, including Facebook, Gmail, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Instagram and hotstop connections.

    TikTok access is available through mobile browsers only and may not function using the mobile app.

    ⏳ How can I extend the days on my unlimited data plan?

    You can’t extend the number of days on your existing China Unlimited Data eSIM plan.

    To keep using unlimited data after your plan expires, purchase a new Unlimited Data eSIM plan for instant connectivity.

    🔄 Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?

    No, once your eSIM is installed, it is locked to that device and cannot be transferred.

    If you want to use the service on another phone, please purchase a separate eSIM for that device.

    If an eSIM plan is reinstalled or activated a second time on the same or another device, the plan will be immediately voided, no refunds or replacements will be provided.

    📞 Can I make calls and send SMS with the China Unlimited Data eSIM?

    No, all our China Unlimited Data eSIM plans are data-only and don't support traditional voice calls or SMS.

    You can, however, make calls and send messages using VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram, or Messenger over your eSIM data.

    Yes, tethering and hotspot sharing are supported. Just enable hotspot mode on your device settings to share your connection.
